Jacking up a vehicle is serious business and not to be taken lightly. Many incidents have killed or injured a person for life because of careless mistakes. A high percentage of incidents are the result from working under an improperly supported vehicle, having a jack slip out, and crushing the individual working on the vehicle.
This is one of the most dangerous tasks when conducting any type of wheel service, particularly if the proper procedures are not followed.
In this training module, we’ll show you how to conduct this inherently hazardous task more safely. The average student will require approximately 25 minutes to complete both the course and quiz.
